Greeting Brothers.

 

It is an honour to be nominated for President of the Sigma Tau Chin Alumni Association.  In Fall of 1986 I had the priveledge of pledging our Fraternity and here now 36 years later I am still in awe of what we have and how we can prepare this organization moving forward.

 

Just a bit about me.  I live in Syracuse, NY just about 45 Minutes away from 8 Montcalm with my wife of 28 years, Paige.  We raised three children: Riggs, Rebecca and Zachary.  (Yes - Riggs is named after Riggs Hall).   They are all grown up, out of college and have moved onto careers in larger cities. For the last 20 years I have worked as Sales Engineer for an Engineering Laboratory - TUV Rheinland of N.A.  LinkedIn Profile:  (40) Jeff Langdon | LinkedIn  My previois assignments were in Sales at companies specializing in Electrical Products.  My background is in Electrical Engineering.

 

For the last eight years I have worked very closely with Howard as the Alumni House Treasurer collecting rents, paying all of the bills on the House and tracking expenses.  During my tenure I have seen our taxes fluxuate as do the utility bills and nearly everything else. In the last eight years I have made sure that our cash position has been strong with the dedication and support of the other members of the Alumni Board and with you, the Alumni.

 

If I have the priveledge of succeeding Howard, I understand those are big shoes to fill.  That said I would consider it an absolute priveledge and would serve with dedication, dignity and honor befitting you the Gentlemen Bothers of Sigman Tau Chi.
